Career Summary

Peter Olans has, over the last 25 years, represented a diverse group of organizations on a local, regional, national and international basis. To date, he has negotiated in excess of 3 million square feet of space for corporate entities such as Sprint Communications, Thyssen Steel, Chevron, Emisphere Technologies and the International Securities Exchange.

Experience

Prior to starting Trident Commercial Realty, Mr. Olans worked for Grubb & Ellis, the Staubach Company and CB Richard Ellis where he developed a sophisticated approach to tenant advocacy, enabling a corporate tenant the ability to make informed decisions on the financial, operational, technological and design/engineering elements of a transaction. Although Mr. Olans has represented a wide array of corporate clients in the financial, banking, telecommunications and government sectors, he was also the founder of the New York Life Sciences Practice Group for Grubb & Ellis.

Additionally, Mr. Olans was responsible for the development and promotion of an innovative approach for non-profit organizations using a “synthetic lease” structure through the Economic Development Corporation of New York. His oftentimes creative and innovate approaches to tenant representation enabled him to achieve the highly coveted “Top Revenue Producer Award” over the last several years at his previous companies.

Education

Mr. Olans received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate in 1980 from Southern Methodist University. Prior to SMU, he attended the American School in Mexico City.

Professional Affiliations

Mr. Olans is currently a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, and the Brazilian and Mexican Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Olans has previously been a Director at the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Olans speaks fluent Spanish and has lived in London, Athens, Mexico City, Puerto Rico and various U.S. cities.

Career Summary

James “Jamie” de Jong has 25 years of experience in the United States domestic market and Latin America. He has represented a cross-section of corporations, non-profit organizations and foreign governments in their development and execution of real estate strategies.

Experience

Mr. de Jong was the founding partner of Caribbean Brokerage Services LLC (“CBS”) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mr. de Jong hired and managed all personnel, launched and created the brand and established a local market presence while representing a portfolio of approximately 3 million square feet of office, warehouse and retail properties . CBS was involved in over 250,000 square feet of lease renewals and 60,000 square feet of new lease transactions, creating $25 million in additional portfolio value.

Prior to CBS, Mr. de Jong was the Senior Managing Director for Global Corporate Services for CB Richard Ellis for the Latin American Region. His regular responsibilities as Senior Managing Director included structuring terms of client engagements to facilitate the integration of CBRE’s lines of business, assembly and oversight of account teams, ongoing supervision of transaction management activities and quality assurance of service delivery.

Fluent in Spanish and raised in Puerto Rico, Mr. de Jong has had extensive transactional and advisory experience in Latin America for companies such as Bank of Nova Scotia (sale of 225,000 square foot tower in San Juan, Puerto Rico), Barclays Bank (lease in Mexico City and lease review in San Paulo), Fujitsuco (35,000 square foot lease in Costa Rica), Proctor & Gamble (Puerto Rico) and WPP Advertising (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean).

Prior to CB Richard Ellis, Mr. de Jong was at Cushman & Wakefield overseeing domestic and international corporate requirements and previous to C&W, was at The Galbreath Company, where he began his career in the New York metro area representing companies such as Akzo Nobel, Banco Mexicano, Cahner's Publishing/Reed Holdings, the Government of Malaysia and many others.

Education

Mr. de Jong received his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in 1981 from Georgetown University. Prior to Georgetown, Mr. de Jong attended the Choate School (Wallingford,CT).

Professional Affiliations

Mr. de Jong is currently a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and is an Adjunct Professor of the New York University School of Continuing Education.

Career Summary

Chris Cirgenski has 30 years of diverse design and construction experience consulting with organizations on a local, regional, national and international basis. Mr. Cirgenski has been involved with over 1000 projects, varying in size from 5000 square feet to over 12 million square feet of space for corporate entities such as AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Bloomberg LP, Virgin Atlantic, Christian Dior, Wells Fargo Bank and the European Union.

Experience

In addition to working with Trident Commercial Realty, Mr. Cirgenski is a founding partner of Cirgenski+Capalino, a company that provides an expansive list of real estate consulting services to private, not-for-profit, and corporate clients throughout the tri-state area. His development management skills include zoning analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning.

Prior to Trident Commercial Realty, Mr. Cirgenski was a founding partner of Fountainhead Commercial Construction, an architectural award-winning commercial construction company providing services to foundations, not-for-profit institutions, corporations and individual clients throughout Greater New York City.

Prior to Fountainhead Construction, Mr. Cirgenski was a principal of Lehr Construction Corp., where he oversaw the construction and project management of operational, technological and design aspects of his client’s relocations or expansions. Mr. Cirgenski's role at Lehr provided him with the opportunity to advise a wide array of corporate clients in the financial, media, retail, telecommunications, law and government sectors, as well as in the area of private education.

In addition to his construction experience, Mr. Cirgenski was a co-founder and operated the New York office of the national architectural firm Space, where he took part in the strategic planning and universal design strategies for Lucent Technologies, AT&T, Citibank and Bristol Myers Squibb. His experience also includes project management of the largest private development project in Manhattan, the 77-acre Lincoln West site, where Mr. Cirgenski helped guide the project through NYC’s ULURP re-zoning process and municipal agency agreements.

Education

Mr. Cirgenski received a Bachelor of Arts in 1975 from Dartmouth College and a Masters in Architecture in 1979 from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Professional Affiliations

Mr. Cirgenski is a registered architect in New York and New Jersey, and has reciprocity in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
